Verna G. Milbert, age 90, of Gibsonia, passed away peacefully at home on November 2nd, 2022. Verna was born on November 22nd, 1931 daughter of the late Perry and Ella (Barngrover) Hunter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Milbert, daughter, Patty Horvath and stepson Wade Milbert.

Verna graduated from Shaler high school and was employed by JC Penney as a data entry clerk. She was a member of Glenshaw Valley Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir. She also volunteered at the monthly luncheon, preparing & serving food and baking pies. Verna adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and was happiest when she was with them.

She is survived by her son Jim Oliver, son Greg (Nokky) Oliver, daughter Penny (Frank) Ferguson, daughter in law, Bonni Oliver, grandchildren; Nikki (Steve) Gaharan, Shane (Sara) Welsh, Tiffany Horvath, Katie (Brian) Gogniat, Stacy Oliver, Gregory Oliver (Hope DiGioia), Justina Gerlesky and Marvin Pasidas great grandchildren; Jacob, Aiden, Antonia, Ella, Kylie, Rachel, and Lauren, sister Ella Lyons, sister Mary Stultz, son-in-law, Gary Horvath and many nieces & nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw PA. Viewing Monday, Nov 7, 2022, 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm. Service Tuesday, Nov 8, 2022 at 11am, held in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Christin Moreland, officiating.
