Theresa (Kurkiewicz) Krachinsky, age 100, of Pittsburgh, PA., passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at St. Barnabas nursing home, located in Gibsonia, PA. She was born on December 29, 1913, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Valentine Kurkiewicz.

Throughout her life Theresa was a member of Assembly of God Church, located in Allison Park, PA and was a homemaker for her family.

In addition to her parents, Therese was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Krachinsky; her son, Jimmy Krachinsky, and 6 siblings.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Chin of Arizona; a sister, Dolly Gaydos; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA., on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 4-7:30PM. A Funeral Service will immediately follow, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jim Callahan officiating. Interment will be privately held.

In lieu of flowers, it was Theresa''s wish that memorial donations be made to Allison Park Assembly of God Church.
