Susan Chovanec Chess, age 56, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Monday, June 29th.

Born on November 20th, 1969 in Pittsburgh. Susan was the beloved child of Joe Chovanec and Kathy Hughes.

She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family including her fur grand babies, watching movies, and taking walks. She will be remembered for the way she took care of her loved ones.

Susan is survived by her friends Ron and Macie Chess, son Thomas Gniewkowski Jr. and daughter-in-law Morgan Gniewkowski. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathy and Joe, her brother Joe Chovanec Jr, and her cherished dog Cody.

Family and friends will be received on Monday July 6th from 12pm to 2pm at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116. Service will be held at 2pm at the funeral home.
