Stephan Habay, 93, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020. Steve was born Wednesday, June 22, 1927, in Gibsonia, PA, a son of the late Charles and Cecilia (Bobonich) Habay.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his loving wife, of 57 years, Martha Habay; and 10 of his siblings.

Steve was a member of the Dorseyville Alliance Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, Merchant Marines, and United States Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. He worked as a Sheet Metal Worker and was a member of Sheet Metal Union Local 12. Above all Steve was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be missed by many.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Cheryl Lynn Jesiolowski and her husband, Ron, Patti Turoczy and her husband, Robert, and Stephan Habay and his wife, Cheryl; his grandchildren, Stephen Habay (Laura), Lauren Preti (Greg), and Matthew Turoczy (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Aaron, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Ellie; his brother, Joseph Habay; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA., on Saturday, September 19, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.

The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Conklin Officiating. Military Honors will be accorded following the service by the American Legion Post 820.

Interment will be held privately in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw, PA.
