Shannon Leigh Wasson, age 38, of Allison Park, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018. Shannon was born on October 20, 1979 in Pittsburgh, PA., daughter of Liane Gethen.

Shannon was a graduate of Shaler Area High School, class of 1997. She loved spending time with her family. She liked the group, New Kids on the Block, and was very close to her Boxer Sadie.

Left to cherish her memory are; her daughter, Malena Wasson; her mother and step-father, Liane and James Gethen; her sister and best friend, Caila Wasson; her nephew,  John Davis; niece, Victoria Wasson-Lunardi; and brother-in-law, Kevin Davis.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Mary Beck.

Shannon enjoyed feeding the fish at Pymatuning lake and loved going to Kennywood. Shannon and her family had a great appreciation for boxers. She is now at Rainbow Bridge with the family boxer Beamer. She had a passion for collecting a variety of shoes and purses. She has endless love for her daughter, Mali and enjoyed spending time with her whole family.

Interment will be held in Private.
