Samuel Harper Core Jr., 89, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, surrounded by family. He was born on August 8,1933, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Samuel Core Sr. and Ruth (Repine) Core.

In addition to his parents, Samuel's sister, Patricia Keefe; granddaughter, Rebecca Core; and grandson, Sean Tracey all preceded him in death.

Samuel is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn (Kane) Core; children, Doug Core, Ron (Karen) Core, Sheryl (Russ) Miller, and Linda (John) Tracey; grandchildren, Greg Core, Steven Core, Jenna Miller, Hannah Miller, Samuel Tracey, Lauren Ricci, Matthew Ricci as well as two great grandchildren.

His fond memories will be cherished and missed by all.

Funeral arrangements were held privately with immediate family at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home and Allegheny County Memorial Park.
