Ruth A. Wilson, 88, of Gibsonia and formerly of Middlesex Twp., passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at St. Barnabas Nursing Home. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA., daughter of the late Ronald Alford and Ida Williamson.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Harry W. Wilson; and her sister, Audrey King.

Ruth was a business teacher throughout her career, retiring after 20 years from Mars High School. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown. Ruth enjoyed golfing, reading, and spending time with her family. In her earlier years, she was an avid tennis player.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robin Heckman and husband Max of Economy Borough, and Gregg Wilson and wife Marcy of Indiana, PA; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Jenna Wilson; a sister, Jeanne A Reiff; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, 5825 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, PA on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Gary Weston officiating.
