Ruth H. Heim, 89, of Glenshaw, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2020. She was born on January 8, 1931, daughter of the late Irwin and Amelia Hodil.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Heim and son, Dan Heim.

Left to cherish her memory is daughter, Nancy (James) Benson and two grandchildren, Mathew and Damian Heim.

Ruth was a teacher for several years and taught at Bellevue Elementary. She was a long time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, in Glenshaw where she sang in the choir for over 60 years. She was passionate about volunteering where she would lend a hand at North Hills Outreach and Meals On Wheels. Ruth was all over the world and loved to travel. She was a resident of Hampton Fields. She will be truly missed by family and friends.

Friends will be received at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA., on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 11:00AM-1:00PM with a private Funeral Service that will immediately follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00PM. The CDC regulations of 25 people in the building will be strictly enforced.

Interment will be held privately at Mount Royal Cemetery in Glenshaw, PA.
