Rose Marie Axe, age 90, of Shaler Twp, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. She was born on January 13, 1926, in Aspinwall, PA., daughter of the late Dominic and Rosa (Romano) LaMonica.

Throughout her life, Rose Marie was a founding member of St. Bonaventure parish in Glenshaw, PA., and a Bridge Life Master. While living in Greensboro NC., Rose Marie was an active member of the Italian Club and the Red Hat Society.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Calvin Axe, and four siblings, Mary Zanca, Joseph LaMonica, Samuel LaMonica and Josephine Mulligan Rist.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Christine Scarborough (Michael) of Ross Twp, Beverly Peluso (Lyle) of Dothan, AL., Randy Axe (Kathy) of Huntersville, NC., and Robin Humphrey (Tony) of South Lyon, MI.; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA. on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 2-6PM and again on Monday, April 11 at 9:15AM.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00AM in St. Bonaventure Parish, Glenshaw, PA.

Interment will be held in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw, PA.
