Ronald Edwin McGee, 85, of Salem, OH, passed away on July 25, 2026 in the early morning.
He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 29, 1941. Ronald "Ron" married the love of his life Elizabeth Ann Kutzner on October 26, 1961. Ron retired from General Motors of Lordstown, where he worked as a Machinist Tool and Die Maker. He worked for such companies as RCA during the Apollo space missions, Rinkers Cement Company in Florida, Hydril in PA, and most recently General Motors, OH. He lived in Bethel Park, PA, West Palm Beach, Fla, North Sewickley Township, PA, Jefferson Hills, PA, Salem, OH, Aransas Pass, TX, Potomac Falls, VA, and most recently returned to Salem, OH. He loved woodworking, working on cars, watching war movies and action movies, card games, puzzles, and most recently paint-by-number. Ron is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth "Liz/Betty Ann" of 63 years, his parents Roy F. Sr. and Geraldine R. McGee, his brother Roy F. Jr. and Charlotte McGee, his sister Geraldine Marenovich, an infant sister Geraldine, and a grandson, Luke R. McGee. He is survived by their five children: Ronald F. Sr. (Connie) McGee of Ohio; Edwin F. Sr. (Sharon) McGee of Virginia; David Lee McGee Sr. of Texas; Beth Ann (Damon) Britten of Ohio; Dale Bryan A. (Angela) McGee of Ohio; her brothers John (Gloria) Kutzner of Pennsylvania and Ray Kutzner of Georgia along with 18 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives of Ronald "Ron", will be received at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA on July 31st from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with funeral services on August 1st at 11 am. He will be laid to rest in Mt Royal Cemetery.
