Robert "Bobby" Cyril Klaus, 76, of Allison Park, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025. Born on April 13, 1948, in Glenshaw, PA, he was a beloved son of the late Robert E. and Alice (Hartmann) Klaus.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Ermine (Bruno) Klaus; his son, Jason, and his wife, Jenna (Wagner) Klaus; his cherished granddaughters, Kiera Bella and Lena Marie Klaus; his sisters-in-law, Maryann (Baker) Klaus, Carol (Bruno) Yagulli and her husband, Ralph, and Marie (Bruno) Dennis and her husband, Wayne; his brother-in-law, Ed Bruno and Judy Kasperosky; step-nephews, Brent and Brad, step-nieces Anita, Ermine, Dana (Victor); great-step-nieces Samantha, Olivia, Sophia; and cousins, Dan (Lynette) and their children Jeff, Becky, and Kimberly. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard A. Klaus, brother-in-law, Anthony Bruno and cousin Nancy Hartmann.
Robert was a Veteran and served in the PA Air National Guard as a Sergeant for 6 years and received an Air Force Outstanding Unit Award before being honorably discharged in 1975. After his service, he worked as a Mechanical Draftsman. Robert was a devoted Pittsburgh sports fan who lovingly referred to the "Buccos" as the "Succos" and cherished the moments spent attending Penguins games with his son, Jason, when they held season tickets for a brief time. He took great joy in car cruises, golfing, and fishing with Jason, creating lasting memories that will be fondly remembered. Robert was especially proud of his son and two granddaughters, often beaming with joy as he shared stories about them with anyone willing to listen.
Family and friends will be received in the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116 on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11 a.m.
