Beloved husband and best friend to Hilda A. Johnson for 60 years.
Loving father of Robert W. (Jean) Johnson, Jr., Carol (Jonathan) Neal and Edward J. Johnson.
Grandfather of Robert and Darren Johnson, Sally (Johnson) Ostedgaard and Lindsay (Johnson) Latkovic.
Great-grandfather of Ella Ostedgaard and Megan Latkovic.
Son of the late Nora and Robert Johnson.
Brother of the late Cora Morgan and Dorothy Messmer.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bob was raised in Pittsburgh. He was a Staff Sergeant in the 8th Air Force, 490th Bombing group and a right waist gunner on a B-17 in WWII. He was a stationary engineer with G. F. Otto and Reinhold Ice Cream Companies and the Three Rivers Ice Cream Service. He was a member of the Local 95 and 205 and a member of West View United Methodist Church. Visiting hours Thursday and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM in (Arena) where a service will be held Saturday at 11:30am.
