Robert Anthony Farbacher, 82 of O'Hara Township, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.  He was born on May 6, 1939 in Sharpsburg, PA to the late Rosella and Clarence Farbacher.

Bob was a proud US Army veteran and held various jobs throughout his life.  He worked hard to support his family most enjoying his 26 years at Yates Brothers Inc. Known for wise words and quick wit, Bob had a knack for finding treasure wherever he went. An avid coffee drinker, he enjoyed fellowship with "the guys" daily. Bob was most at home tinkering in the garage, or in the woods with a rifle in hand.

Bob is survived by his wife of 58 years, Geraldine (DeOrio), his 3 children, Carolyn (Jeffrey) McDonald, Anthony (Tracie) Farbacher and Catherine (Brad) Blasius; 4 grandchildren, Heather (Timothy) Michaux, Shannon (Nathan) Michaux, Megan Blasius and Kyle Blasius; 3 great-grandchildren Zoe, Abigail and Elijah. He is also survived by his brother, Gerald Farbacher and his sister, Marianne Stasny.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Farbacher.

Friends will be received at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116 on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Pastor Mark Conklin will officiate.

Internment will be privately held at Mt. Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw.

Bob's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Passavant Hospital, Presbyterian University Hospital and Family Life Hospice whose focused loving care made his last days peaceful.
