Rebecca (Derbyshire) Stark, age 69, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2026, in the presence of her loving family. She was born on November 15, 1956, the daughter of the late Henry and Barbara (Cryder) Derbyshire.

In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Fortus.

Here to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 48 years, Richard Stark; her children, Jamie (Aidan) Stark-Miller, Christine (David) Stark-Eldridge, and Bret (Mary) Stark; her treasured grandchildren, Cali, Leira, Henry, Alaina, Greta, and James; and her siblings, Susan, Martha, David, and Joan, along with many loving nieces and nephews.Becky was the heart and soul of her family—a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud, adoring grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She found purpose in caring for those she loved, always placing family at the center of her life. 

In her quieter moments, Becky enjoyed tending to her garden, preparing home-cooked meals, especially on the Big Green Egg in the warm weather with a nice glass of white wine, and getting lost in the pages of a good novel. She also had a deep appreciation for music that reflected her vibrant spirit, whether it was the timeless sound of The Beatles or the easy familiarity of John Mayer playing softly in the background.Lighthearted and free-spirited, Becky brought warmth, laughter, and comfort to everyone she encountered. Her kindness, gentle nature, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered always. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Friends and family are welcome to gather at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. located at 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve, officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mount Royal Cemetery at a later date. There will be a celebration of life party in the coming weeks. Please get in touch with the family for further information.
