Raymond H. Weiland, 83, of Butler, PA, passed away on January 2, 2021. He was born October 4, 1937, in Butler, PA, son of late Harold and Ethel Dreda (Grahm) Weiland.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his brother, Donald (Sam) Weiland and his brother-in-law, James Coyle Jr.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Patricia Weiland; one sister, Nancy Coyle; one daughter of Annalopis, MD, Cheri (Tom) Kick Lighter; one son of Tampa, FL, Jon Weiland; four step children, Tina (Lenny) Pierce, Jay (Valerie) Gombos, Dee (Tom) Bloom and Dan (Nancy) Ritenour; 13 step grandchildren; Kiesha, Dave, Tomi, Ben, Jonathan, Travis, Jake, Justina, Nathan, Kris, Megan, Cody, Kate, Tori and Amanda; 8 step great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Raymond retired from Coca-Cola in 1991 as a truck driver. He worked at Coca-Cola for 37 years. He then became snowbirds to Stuart FL. for 30 years. He belonged to Butler Elk 170 as a life member for 61 years. Raymond was an avid golfer where he belonged to several golf leagues throughout his career. Raymond was noted to be one of the best golfers in Butler for several years. He won the Butler County Open 3 times. Along with his brother and sister, they owned and operated the County Line Taven for 19 years before they decided to sell.
At Raymond's request, there will not be visitation hours or viewing. Funeral Arrangements were held privately at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Glenshaw, PA.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
