Raymond Thomas Blackham, Jr. (Ray), 90, passed into glory on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. He
was born in the Greenfield section of Pittsburgh, PA on October 21, 1933. He was the son
of the late Raymond T. and Mary E. (McCarney) Blackham. In addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Sally A. Blackham.

Ray was the beloved husband to his wife Patricia (Treat) for 64 years. He was a loving
father and grandfather who cherished spending time with his family. He enjoyed diving,
singing, camping, and rooting for all of the Pittsburgh sports teams. He attended the
University of Pittsburgh, where he participated in the Sigma Chi fraternity and the Heinz
Chapel Choir, graduating in 1955. He later received his Masters of Business Administration
from Duquesne University.

He worked at Duquesne Light Company in Pittsburgh for over 40 years, serving as Director
of Market Research and Planning. He was also an active member of the Electric Utility
Market Research Council.

A devout Christian, he was an enthusiastic participant and lay leader at several churches
over the years. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Raymond J. (the late
Maryanne) Blackham, Paul R. (Jennie) Blackham, and Diane B. (Pete) Casile; and his
beloved grandchildren, Aaron Blackham, Sadie (Justin) Paul, Nickolas Nicoletti, Holly
Blackham, Angel Blackham, and Bella Casile.

Family and friends will be received at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal
Blvd., Glenshaw, PA, on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM. The funeral
service will be held the following day, April 15, at 11 AM, held in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be held privately at Mount Royal Cemetery.
