Phyllis Elaine Jackson
September 19, 1937 – November 3, 2024
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis Elaine Jackson, who left us peacefully on November 3, 2024, at the age of 87. Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and grace touched countless lives.
Born on September 19, 1937, to Harold and Mildred Sarver, Phyllis shared her talents as an exceptional musician with the Berkeley Hills Lutheran Church Choir. Her musical gifts extended to Eastern Star, Greater Harmony Chorus, LACE, and Concordia at Highpointe where her voice and dedication brought joy and inspiration to many.
Phyllis was the beloved wife of the late John Jackson, with whom she built a family filled with love and laughter. She is survived by her two sons, Scott (Karen) and Mark (Renee'), along with her four adored grandchildren: Erica Franz (Yannick), Alec, Joshua, and Nicole. Her family was her greatest joy, and she was a guiding presence in their lives, offering support, encouragement, and famous "Jackson Jingles" for all those special occasions.
Phyllis was the loving sister of Harold Sarver, Audrey Speicher, and Beverly Szopiak. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends and neighbors.
Phyllis was also an avid golfer who cherished her time on the greens. She enjoyed memorable golf trips with friends and was a dedicated employee of Diamond Run GC. Her love for the game, her laughter, and camaraderie enriched the lives of her fellow golfers.
Friends and family will be received November 7th from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home. A celebration of Phyllis's life will be held at 11:00 am on November 8th at Berkley Hills Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Berkley Hills Lutheran Church, a cause close to her heart (www.bhlc.org).
