Patricia Ann Blackham (Pat), 84, entered into the presence of her Savior on Thursday, August 8, 2024. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 8, 1940, and grew up in the Sheraden neighborhood of the City. She was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Marie T. (Drudy) Treat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Raymond T. Blackham, Jr, as well as by her brothers James and Richard Treat, and her sister Betty Petrich.
Pat (or "Patsy" as she was known growing up) graduated from Langley High School in 1957. A long-time homemaker, mother, and church volunteer, she later attended Allegheny Community College, where she received her paralegal certificate.
A fine athlete, she met her husband Ray while they were both divers competing in the Pittsburgh Parks program. She later became an accomplished bowler, and was a life-long fan of the Steelers.
She and Ray raised their three children in Penn Hills, PA: Raymond J. (the late Maryanne) Blackham, Paul R. (Jennie) Blackham, and Diane B. (Pete) Casile, who all cherish her memory, as do her beloved grandchildren, Aaron Blackham, Sadie (Justin) Paul, Nickolas Nicoletti, Holly Blackham, Angel Blackham, and Bella Casile. Most of all, Pat loved the Lord, and her spiritual influence will continue to impact generations.
Family and friends will be received at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA, on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be held the following day,Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 1 PM, held in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held privately at Mount Royal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations to the African Children's Choir.
