Michael Platek Jr., 86, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away June 12, 2024. He was born on June 18, 1937, in Pittsburgh PA, son of the late Michael Sr. and Ann (Maturkanich) Platek.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his two siblings, Anna Mae Guke and Regis Platek.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Carole (DuBois) Platek; daughter, Debra; son, Raymond and one grandchild, Michael.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, June 17th, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw PA 15116. A Blessing Service will be held the following day, Tuesday, June 18th, at 11:00 a.m.
