Mary Eleanor Kowal, age 89, of Creighton, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. She was born on December 30, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late William Hazlett, Sr. and Alma Lamoureux Sidone.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John Kowal, Jr.; a daughter, Karen Anne Kowal; and a brother, William Hazlett, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory, are her children, Pamela Jean Machinist, Diana Marie (Larry) Kinninger, Donna Elizabeth Lardin, John Kowal III, Maryellen (Dennis) Hughes, Patricia Lynn Thomas, and Anne Marie Mazur. Mary was also survived by 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA. 15116 on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 11AM until 1PM when a Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will be held in private.
