Mary Lois (Gaines) Fowkes, 86, of Verona, PA, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Oakmont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Oakmont, PA. She was born July 16, 1929, in Verona, PA, daughter of the late Thomas Earl and Valeria Barbara (Swatchick) Gaines.

Mary enjoyed playing the lottery and was an avid bingo player. Above all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory, are her husband of 67 years, Ronald G. Fowkes; children, Cindy Pribila and her husband Jim, Ron Fowkes and his wife Denise, Rick Fowkes and his wife Pat, Terry Cole and her husband Mark, and Susan Fowkes; grandchildren, Michele Pribila (Bill), Denise Crawford (Andy), Sarah and Emily Fowkes, Rick Fowkes (Ashley), Dave Fowkes (Julie), Laura Fowkes, Greg Fowkes, Luke Cole (Amanda) and Katlyn Cole; great grandchildren, Layla, Cameron, Kali, Lilian, and Alexis; siblings, Pat Young and Kenny Gaines.

Friends will be received in the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc., 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116, on Monday, June 27, from 3-7 p.m. when a Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel.
