Marilyn D. Core, 90, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on Saturday, September 20th surrounded by family.  She was the wife of the late Samuel Harper Core, Jr. who were happily married for 65 years.  She was born on July 11th, 1935, in Pittsburgh, PA daughter of the late Thomas Kane and Lucille Christian.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn's brother Thomas, granddaughter Rebecca Core and grandson Sean Tracey, all preceded her in death.

Marilyn is survived by sisters Marcelline Kane Collitt and Margaret Kane.  Her children, Douglas, Ron (Karen), Sheryl (Russ), and Linda (John).   Grandchildren Gregory Core, Jenna Miller, Steven Core, Samuel Tracey, Hannah Miller, Lauren Ricci, Matthew Ricci and 2 great granddaughters, Anna Belle and Blair.

Services are private.  Private interment Wednesday at Allegheny County Memorial Park. Arrangements by Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw.
