Maria Teresa Tuccillo, age 91, of Pittsburgh passed away on May 16th, 2025. She was born on February 20, 1934, daughter of the late Luigi and Matilda Tedesco. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raffaele Tuccillo, as well as her sisters Angela, Pasqualina, and Assunta.

Maria was the devoted mother of Maria (Stephen) McCarthy and August (Mia) Tuccillo; proud grandmother of Stephen, Christopher, Christina, and Josefina; loving sister of Rosa, Nilde, and Franca. Maria is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends and family around the world.

Maria loved spending time with her family, working in her garden, sewing, and cooking enough food to feed the entire neighborhood. She filled our lives with stories and songs, and her love and generosity will forever be remembered by everyone who knew her.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw PA 15116 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at St. Sebastian Church - Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, 311 Siebert Rd, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237 at 10:00 AM. Please meet at church. Entombment to follow at Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Cemetery.
