Lorraine A. Kirstein, 71, of Ross Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Passavant Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Raymond J. Kirstein Jr. and Loraine "Dolly" Kirstein.

She is survived by her siblings, Verlyn (Nick) DiCaprio, Ray Kirstein, Tom (Carol) Kirstein and Diane (Dan) Sagi; her nieces and nephews, Michelle (Gary) Kaufman, Michael (Julie) DiCaprio, Nikole (Tim) Schutzman and Ray (Morgan Yingling) Sagi and her great nieces and nephews, Joshua, Jordyn and Julia Kaufman, Carter, Collin and Connor DiCaprio and Troy, Lindsay, Leah and Zoe Schutzman.

Lorraine worked in the Billing Department at Shadyside Hospital, which became a part of UPMC, for over 40 years. She loved sitting on her patio and watching the local wild life, especially the birds. She enjoyed making various types of crafts. Her creativity and artistic talent was abundant. Everyone enjoyed her handmade cards for birthdays and holidays. Lorraine also had a sharp sense of humor and was always ready with a sarcastic quip to interject. She will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116 on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 2-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.

Internment will be held at St. Augustine Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
