Lois M. Tamburino, age 90, of Glenshaw, PA, passed away on December 14, 2024. She was the beloved mother of Larry (Silvana), John (Diane) and Bridget; Proud grandmother of Daniel, Matthew (Amber), Andrew (Meghan), Eric, Krista (Nik) and Jessica; and great-grandmother to Kaylee, Anthony, Sadie, Summer, Lennon, Parker, Stella, Hazel and Santino; Daughter of the late Roy L. Roberts and Dorothy Martin Roberts. She was the loving sister of Gerald, Elbert, Joanna and Pat. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Married in 1951, while Anthony was stationed at an army base in Arkansas. Anthony was eventually deployed overseas, leaving behind his pregnant teenage bride. After giving birth to her son (Larry), Anthony was engaged in combat during the Korean conflict. After giving birth, she traveled alone by train, with her newborn, to meet her in-laws in Pittsburgh. After Anthony was discharged from the service, they lived in the Pittsburgh area their entire lives.

Lois always loved to knit and crochet. She and Anthony had a real passion for gardening and plants. She was also famously known for her weekly Pasta Night dinner for family and friends, a tradition that lasted for over 60 years. Her homemade tomato sauce and homemade meatballs were legendary. The family always looked forward to her large variety of homemade Christmas cookies. She was always friendly and kind to all. She loved visitors and always stopped what she was doing and made everyone feel welcome.

Friends and family are received Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM; Where a Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM, Fr. Miro Stelmaszczyk officiating. Interment in Mt. Royal Cemetery, following the service.
