Lois C. Hartenstein, 93, of Allison Park, PA, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020. She was born on August 14, 1926, in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Robert Caldwell and Myrtle (Vause) Caldwell.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, George Hartenstein Jr.; brother, Robert Caldwell Jr.; Sister, Virginia Jordan and her beloved four-legged companion, Tori.

Left to cherish her memory, are her 5 children; Laurel Webster (Jim), George Hartenstein III (Kim), Geoffrey Hartenstein (Lynette), Gregory Hartenstein (Rosemarie) and Gary Hartenstein (Lynn); 13 grandchildren, John, Helen, Michael, Kimberly, Christopher, Andrew, McKenzi, Ryan, Marlee, Kevin, Kyle, Jason and Sarah; 10 great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Silas, Lucas, Austin, Kenzie, Travis, Leo, Lucia, Everly and Nathan.

Lois was a big animal lover. She was a caring mother, grandma and GG. She took pride at volunteering at the Pittsburgh Zoo, Carnegie Museum and Passavant Hospital. Lois was a Den mother for the Cub Scouts and taught Sunday School for many years. She was a dedicated member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She enjoyed watching sports and was a huge Pittsburgh Sports fan. Lois was a talented seamstress, creating many outfits for her children and grandchildren. She will always be loved and remembered by her friends and family.

Friends will be received at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA., on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 3:00PM-7:00PM with a Funeral Service immediately following in our Funeral Home Chapel at 7:00PM, Pastor Karen Slusser Officiating.

Entombment will be held privately at Mt. Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw, PA.
