Lena (Costanzo) Bruno age 95, formerly of Hampton Fields Village, passed on peacefully on Saturday November 13th, 2021. Lena was born September 8th, 1926 in Calabria, Italy from where her family emigrated in 1933. Wife of the late Frank S. Bruno and youngest sister of the late Teresa Martire, Algy Leo, Mary Intrieri, Frank Costanzo, Mario Costanzo, Angelo Costanzo, Sam Costanzo, and Bill Costanzo. Mother of Barbara B. Murphy (Daniel J.), Phyllis J Russell, Paul F. Bruno (Myra), and Christina L. Pander. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Teresa Bruno, Paul Bruno, Will Russell, Silas Russell, and Alyssa Russell and a great grandchild Chloë Russell.

In her youth, Lena trained as a classical pianist and imparted her love of music to her children. A homemaker, Lena was an avid reader and flower gardener. She was also a life-long seeker of knowledge, and placed a high value on education. For twenty-four years she volunteered at St. Margaret's Hospital in Aspinwall and was an active member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Guild of St. Scholastica Parish in Aspinwall.

Friends will be received for visiting hours at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116 on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 12-1 p.m. The Funeral Service will immediately follow at the 1pm hour held in the funeral home chapel, Fr. Mazurek , officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Good Samaritan Hospice.
