Laverne T. McCormick

After a 93 year journey, Laverne T. McCormick departed this life on Sunday, August 29, 2021 in order to return to her Heavenly Home and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a devout Roman Catholic who lived a long and fulfilled life. Laverne was a kind, loving, selfless and gentle soul who was devoted to her God, family and friends throughout her lifetime. To know her was to truly love her. May she rest in the loving embrace of almighty God for all eternity.

Laverne was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor Fuchs. She was the wife of 34 years to late John F. McCormick Sr.; beloved mother of Cheryl, John Jr., Gary (Dawn) and Lynne Detesta (Tony). Her siblings were Betty Good, Robert Fuchs (Cheryl), Ruth Krull and the late Eleanor Maienknecht, Joseph Fuchs and Alma Bittner. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren whom she cherished and adored.

Funeral Services were held privately.
