Kathleen Martrano died peacefully after a long illness surrounded by her family on December 5, 2022. Kathy was born in Pittsburgh on March 7, 1953, daughter of the late Gertrude and George Sears. She lived her early years in Bloomfield, moving to Shaler later in life.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony; her son, Michael (Christine); grandchildren, Victoria (Tori) and Adam; as well as her sister, Mary Lou Southwood (Jim).

Kathy was a talented cook and prolific cookie baker. Her cookie trays at Christmas were legendary. She loved to go fishing at North Park and Conneaut Lake, often with her grandson, Adam. She was proud of her granddaughter, Tori's softball talent and enjoyed watching her play.

Family and friends will be received at ELOISE B. KYPER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2702 Mt. Royal, Glenshaw, PA, on Thursday, December 8, 2022 form 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held the following day, December 9, 2022 at 10 a.m. held in the funeral home chapel.


Interment will be held privately at Mount Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw, PA.
