Joseph T. Steckel, 93, of Hampton Twp. passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.  He was born on Friday, March 9, 1928 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Mark and Amalia (Gunja) Stojkovic.

Joe was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Parish.  He was a proud past president of the Middle Road Vol. Fire Co.  Joe was employed as a sales representative of photographic and printing supplies in the western PA area.  In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, hunting, fishing, golf and all Pittsburgh sport teams.

In addition to his parents, his son, Barry Steckel, preceded Joe in death.

Joe is survived by his wife, Jean (Macioce) Steckel; two sons, Bruce Steckel (Katie), Brian Steckel (Andrea), daughter-in-law Kelly Steckel, Barry's spouse and four grandchildren, David, Ashley, Bradley and Brett (Elyse).

Friends are invited to join Joseph's Funeral Service at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA, on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11AM in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Entombment will be held privately with immediate family at Mt. Royal Cemetery Mausoleum, Glenshaw, PA.
