Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the son of the late Peter and Dorothy Kavacic Krotec.
Beloved husband of 51 years to Eileen Larbig Krotec.
Loving father of Karen Zielinski, Mark J. Krotec and Dr. Kristine Krotec Skiba.
Brother of Margareet Gribbin, Angeline Gribbin, John Krotec and the late Peter Krotec, Lawrence Krotec and Catherine Smerdel.
He is survived by 13 Grandchildren and 1 Great-granddaughter.
Friends will be received Wednesday 1-3 and 6-8 pm in Matthew Arena Funeral Home.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10am in St. Sebastian Church.
Mr. Krotec was a member of the Slovenian Eagles, the American Slovene Veteran's Organization of Pittsburgh and was an usher at St. Sebastian Church.
He received the Silver Beaver Award in Boy Scouting and was the Scout Master of Troop 207 at St. Sebastian Parish.
