John P. "Peach" Flavin, 88, of Ross Twp., formally Shaler, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023. He was born on June 25, 1935  in Pittsburgh, PA., son of the late Edward and Hannah (Walsh) Flavin.

Left to cherish his memory are his two loving children, Colleen Bergman and John (Holly) Flavin; five grandchildren, Molly (Ted) Parkhurst, Mary (Nick) Boyle, Cody (Grace) Bergman, Ian Flavin and Elena Flavin; several great grandchildren, Bailey, Maddison, Logan and Colt Parkhurst, Mackenzie, Blythe, Roark, Vanora Sheridan and Eda Boyle; a dear friend, Mary Bichler along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Martinette (Toomey) Flavin and three siblings, Edward, Donald and Margaret Flavin.

Family and friends will be received at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA, on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 3-8 pm with a funeral service immediately following at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Inurnment will be held privately with immediate family.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations to St. Judes Children's Hospital or  Wounded Warrior Project.
