Joanne L. Rosswog, 93, of Shaler Township, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026.
Born on September 4, 1932, Joanne was the daughter of William and Leona (Diebold) Dell. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James P. Rosswog; her son, James P. (Karen) Rosswog, Jr.; and her siblings, Rev. William Dell, Mary Grace Canfield , Paul E. Dell, and Carl N. Dell.
Joanne attended St. Mary School in Glenshaw and later graduated from Divine Providence Academy in Pittsburgh. A lifelong woman of faith, she was a devoted member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Glenshaw, where she served as a Minister of the Eucharist.
Joanne dedicated her life to her family as a loving homemaker, wife, and mother. She devoted herself to raising her children, creating a home filled with love, faith, and support. Her greatest joy was caring for her family and watching it grow through the generations. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Michael G. (Tricia) Rosswog, Nancy M. (Michael) Sippey, David S. (Marcia) Rosswog, Peter F. (Alexis) Rosswog, Philip A. (Kay) Rosswog, Daniel J. (Rebecca) Rosswog and Karen E. (Scott) Gralewski. She was the proud grandmother of 31 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 41 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc., 2702 Mt. Royal Boulevard, Glenshaw, PA 15116. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Saint Mary of the Assumption Church, 2510 Middle Road, Glenshaw, PA 15116. Please meet at church.
Joanne's legacy of faith, love, and devotion to family will continue through the generations she nurtured and cherished. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
