Joanne G. Fulton, age 91, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 2, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Fulton Jr.Joanne was a loving and devoted mother to Lynn (Geoffrey) Phillips, Janet (Richard) Reck, and Carol (Philip) Eskew. She was a cherished Grammy to Joshua (Kate) Phillips, Nathan (Ashley) Phillips, Daniel Reck, Christopher (Jenelle) Reck, Megan (Daniel Bergeron) Eskew, Katie Eskew, and Sarah Eskew, and a loving Great-Grammy to Penelope and Annie Phillips. Joanne was also a loving sister to Geraldine Wadlow.

She was a proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned an education degree. Joanne dedicated part of her life to teaching, serving as both a teacher and substitute teacher. While she valued her profession, her greatest joy and proudest role was being a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Joanne volunteered her time with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, reflecting her appreciation for the arts and her community. In her younger years, she and Bob especially enjoyed dancing together, including taking ballroom dancing lessons. Some of her fondest memories were babysitting her grandchildren and enjoying treasured family trips to Rehoboth Beach.

In her later years, Joanne resided at Ridgecrest Senior Living, where she formed many friendships and enjoyed participating in a variety of activities. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and deep love of family.

Friends and family will be received, Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116, Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel Pastor Dr. Dirk Lesnett to Officiate. Private interment at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
