Jean C. Steckel, 93, of Hampton Twp, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022. She was born on Wednesday , March 27, 1929, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Macioce . Jean was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Church . She enjoyed baking, crocheting, hand quilting, reading, and making beaded calendars each year. Jean loved having morning breakfast with her 3 adult son s. She always provided loving support and guidance to her sons and grandchildren, whom she adored. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 70 years Joseph, and her son Barry. She is survived by two sons, Bruce (Katie), Brian (Andrea), daughter-in-law Kelly ( Barry) , and grandchildren, David, Ashley, Bradley (Kristen), Brett (Elyse) , and Mia . Family and friends will be received at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal. Glenshaw, PA., on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 9-11 AM. The Funeral Service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel at 11AM with Ken Haselrig, officiating. Entombment will be held privately with immediate family at Mt. Royal Cemetery Mausoleum, Glenshaw, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests you donate to Bridges Hospice, Monroeville, PA.
