Janet Yvonne (Hayes) Cralle, age 82, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on January 3, 2024. She was born on May 19, 1941, daughter of the late William and Eleaner (Sweeney) Hayes.  She was the cherished wife of Joseph R. Cralle; Mother of Dana C. (Brian) Cralle; Grandmother to James A. Lane-Cralle; Sister to Annette Bhamgwani, Daniel (Joy) Hayes, Michael (Lou) Hayes, Bernadette (Eftikhar) Ali, Pamela (Bill) Miller and the late, William and Bernard Hayes; Aunt of Lance (Toni) Fastwolf, Shaheen Ali, Manoj (Tameka) Bhambwani, Mahvish (Clayton) Youngs, Aamir Ali, Andrew (Amanda) Soeder, Joseph Soeder, Ana (Spencer) Black and Brendan Hawkins and Great-Aunt to Ariana Jamil, Marcus Fastwolf, Jack Fastwolf, Remington Youngs, and Callan Soeder.

Janet was a graduate of Carrick Highschool. She worked as a licensed notary at the Allegheny County Elections  facility in Downtown Pittsburgh. She later became employed at the Pittsburgh Veterans Affairs Office for over 25 years. Janet was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. She loved her two best furry friends, Lillie, the English Bulldog and Zoie, the French Bulldog. She will always be remembered for being extremely funny and always having a witty comeback. Her fond memories will be cherished forever and deeply missed by her family and friends.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 11:00AM - 1:00 PM at Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw,PA 15071. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm, held in the Funeral Home Chapel with Ken Haselrig, officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Royal Cemetery.
