James (Jim) Russell Schweitzer of Conneaut Lake and Shaler, passed away on February 2, 2022. He was born in Pittsburgh on August 24, 1958, son of the late Roy and Mary Daugherty Schweitzer.

Jim was a union carpenter, and retired after 23 years with the University of Pittsburgh. Jim was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed sharing that passion with his son James.

Jim is survived by his son James Richard Schweitzer of Pittsburgh, sister Janet (Justin) Wolf of Pittsburgh, and brother Richard (Carol) Schweitzer of Cranberry along with niece Emily and nephew R. J.

A Memorial Mass will be held together with the late Mary Schweitzer, this Saturday, Sep 16, 2023 held at St Matthew Parish in St. Bonaventure Church, located at  2001 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116 at 10AM. If you wish to attend Mass, please meet directly at the church.
