James Ludwig Martrano, age 94, of Pittsburgh, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018. James was born on April 8, 1924 in Brownsville, PA.

James was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Throughout his life, he always loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. James was very passionate about cooking which he enjoyed doing for his family. He was a proud veteran serving his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Tishky and one great grandchild.
Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife, with whom he spent 57 years, Majorie Mae Martrano; his son, Robert H. Wanker (Carol); five grandchildren, Sharon, Rob, Diane, Donna and Rhonda; and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, Pa. 15116 on Thursday, July 26, 2018  from 4-7PM. A Funeral Service will immediately following in the funeral home chapel at 7PM.

Interment will be held privately.
