James Joseph Edge, age 93, of Glenshaw, PA passed away on September 8, 2025; He was the beloved Husband of 70 years, to Dorothy Mae (Edwards) Edge; Loving father of Barbara A. (Kenneth) Kowalski, Sally A. (Charles) Hodgson and Keith J. (Deborah) Edge; Proud grandfather of Kevin M. Kowalski, Lauren M. (Herschel Shreve, Jr.) Kowalski, Hilary (Pastor Marvin E.) Nelson, Brittany (Daniel) McCall, Richard Bedillion, Whitney (Louie) Hayman and Brooke Trunzo; Great grandfather to MJ Nelson, Amelia Nelson, Liam Nelson, Evie McCall, Dalton Bedillion, Remington Bedillion, Hunter Campbell, Greg Campbell, and Giuliana Pihakis; Son of the late Joseph Edge and Gladys (Gibbons) Edge.; He is also survived by cherished friends and neighbors.

James and his beloved wife Dorothy celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on August 8, 2023, with their family. He was a Regional Tech Specialist at IBM for 30 years and worked various jobs and roles not "retiring" until the age of 80.

He was a long-time member and was actively involved in the Episcopal Church of the Pittsburgh Diocese. He loved spending time with his family, friends and everyone he met and especially loved making people laugh. He was always dedicated and interested in what his children were involved in, lending a helping hand wherever he could.

Friends and Family are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at ELOISE B.  KYPER FUNERAL HOME at 2707 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116 at 10:00 AM. Private Entombment to follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J.
