James Raymond Bowers

James R. (Jim) Bowers, 93, of Franklin Park, PA, passed peacefully on July 26, ^, 2021. Jim is survived by his devoted wife Mary Jane (Ulrich), daughter Cynthia Fink, sons Dale Bowers (Lisa Dzermajko) and Mark Bowers (Ryan McCarthy), and his beloved grandchildren Paul Fink, Kevin Fink, Tim Bowers and Maggie Bowers. He is also survived by his sister Nancy Scholz of Vero Beach, FL. In addition to his parents, brother Richard L. Bowers and son-in-law Albert Fink preceded Jim in death.

A skilled carpenter, Jim co-founded Stringert & Bowers, Inc. in McKees Rocks, PA, helping build Pittsburgh's stunning skyline. Jim was an avid Steelers fan, enjoyed traveling the world with his wife Jane, and working and hunting at his cabin in the mountains of Emporium, PA. Friends and family will be received at 1pm on Saturday, July 31 ^st , followed immediately by funeral services at 2pm, both at Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA.
