Helen R. Digby, 92, of Lincoln, NE died, October 21.  Born on December 20, 1925, to Rose and Joseph Chvasta, in Pittsburgh, PA she was the oldest of five children (Helen, Joe, Margaret, Rosemary and Tom), Helen married Robert R. Digby on March 13, 1947 (now deceased).

Helen is survived by her sister Rosemary, her daughter Marjorie Kostelnik (husband Dave); son Tim Digby (wife Gail, grandson Kyle and spouse Kat); son Tom Long (wife Susan, granddaughters Abigail, Emily and Claire, their spouses,  as well as four great grandchildren).

Helen valued education and was proud to achieve a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1971. Later, she earned her LPN associates degree. She was a great pie maker, a dedicated quilter and a teddy bear maker/collector. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
