IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harold G.
Winter, Ii
April 19, 1948 – September 13, 2024
Harold "Harry" George Winter, II stepped from this life into his eternal life with Jesus in the early morning hours of September 13, 2024.
Born on April 19, 1948 to Harold and Mildred Winter, Harry was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. A veteran of the US Army who enlisted during the Vietnam conflict, he willingly served his county stateside in the Washington, D.C. area.
Harry retired from Alcoa after 30 years, was a faithful church member, served in worship ministry over the years, and traveled with his wife Carol to teach English in China for two years. He never failed to have a quick wit, a humorous quip, or a wise word to share with those closest to him.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Carol, his son Scott (Rebekah) and his four grandchildren Tyler, Kyle, Ayden, and Shayna, his brother Barry Winter and companion Joy, his niece Jennifer (Tim) and their children, and his nephew Christopher (Amy) and their children.
Carol and Scott would like to thank Hope Hospice for its incredible compassion and excellent care. They truly are an amazing group of people who showed their care to be their calling, not simply their job.
A celebration of Harry's life will occur on September 27, 2024 at 1pm at CrossWay Community Church in Valencia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice 3356 Babcock Boulevard Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
