Gloria A. (Zegarelli) Corrigan, 84, of Shaler Township, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, in St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Richland Township. Born June 20, 1930, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Frank Zegarelli and Assunta "Sue" Sosso, and she was a homemaker. She attended St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Glenshaw, where she was an usher and greeter and was also a member of the Christian Mothers. Gloria was an extremely accomplished seamstress. Her father always said her hands were golden; she could make anything. She is survived by her son, Robert L. "Cutty" Corrigan Jr., of Lake Worth, Fla.; two granddaughters, Maria and Christina Tompkins, of Connecticut; three sisters, Phyllis (late Angelo) Sciullo, of Florida, Elsie (Richard) Palombo, of Florida, and Pat (Rocco) Totino, of Upper St. Clair; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Corrigan Sr.; daughter, Deborah Tompkins; her parents; and one sister, Frances Zegarelli. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 2510 Middle Raod, Glenshaw, with Father John Marcucci officiating. Interment will be in Assumption of St. Mary Cemetery, Glenshaw. Arrangements are by KYPER FUNERAL HOME, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. http://www.kyperfuneralhome.com.
