Gladys Mae Choura, 98, passed away quietly at Good Samaritan Hospice, in Wexford, PA, on November 19, 2018. She was born to Anna Marie and Charles Hagmaier, on June 30, 1920, in Shaler Township. She spent her entire life in this area where she married Fred A. Choura on July 3, 1948.

Gladys had many jobs including Singer sewing machine seamstress, drapery seamstress, florist assistant, and for 15 years a Surgical Room Aide, at North Hills Passavant Hospital. For decades she was an avid bowler. Her love of gardening and entertaining were her life long passions. After caring for her ailing husband for 9 years, she was widowed at 49. Everyone who knew Gladys admired for her "can-do" personality. She surrounded herself with fun and laughter and will be missed by many neighbors and friends.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ralph "Lucky" Hagmaier and Charles "Chick" Hagmaier.

Gladys's only nephew, Charles "Chuck" Hagmaier, passed away on June 8, 2018, leaving his widow, Marilyn Hagmaier, of FL; Gladys's has a great-nephew, Charles "Mitch" Hagmaier, of Bellefonte, PA; a great-niece, Annette (Zoran) Nedeljkovic, of Newtonville, MA; and two great-grand-nephews, Misa and Aleksandar.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA.

Interment will be privately held at Mt. Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw, PA.
