George F. Rummel, age 88 of Ross Township, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Janet Rummel. Father of Donna (David) Witter, Dale (Linda) Rummel, Eric (Joanne) Rummel, the late Cheryl (Richard) Ackerman and Mark (Abby) Rummel. Grandfather to Brian (Dena) Witter, Melissa (Mathew) Maletestinic, Sean (Kristin) Maki,  Katherine (Michael) Libbon, Emily Heller, Joseph (Mauri) Rummel, Daniel Rummel, Adam (Kelly) Rummel, Matthew (Erin) Rummel, Sarah (Thomas) Sedlacek, also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and one sister, Margaret Schmiedlin

Friends will be received in the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, Pa. 15116 on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 2-4PM and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Parish at 10:00AM on Monday, April 23, 2018.

Interment will follow in Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Cemetery.

Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Family Hospice & Palliative Care UPMC or The Kane Foundation.
