Genevieve 'Jane' Marie Markelewicz, 100, of Shaler, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020.  Jane was born Friday, August 15, 1919, in Sharpsburg, a daughter of the late Felix and Catherine Miecznikowski.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, of over 30 years, Anthony J. Markelewicz; her brothers, Henry and Edward; her sister, Gertrude and her daughter-in-law, Cindy Markelewicz.

Jane was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spoiling her pets, crafting and most of all playing the lottery and bingo. Left to cherish her memory are her children, David Markelewicz, Karen Cooper and husband, Robert, and Linda Hart and her husband, Edward; her grandchildren, Bobby, Melanie, Crystal and Katie.

The Funeral Service in the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA., will be held privately.
