Frances "Fran" L. Nedley, 77, of Glenshaw, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016. She was born on March 17, 1939, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late William C. Matter and Katherine M. (Steckline) Matter. Fran was a homemaker throughout her life. After her children were grown, she worked as a nanny. She loved spending time with her family at her property in Maryland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 2006, John Nedley Sr.; a son, John Nedley Jr.; a daughter, Jackie Marciniak; and five siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Laura Ann Fera and Becky S. Hagmaier (Dave); grandchildren, Kenny Marciniak (Emily), Tyler Fera, Dylan Fera, Brooke Hagmaier and Josh Hagmaier; two great-grandchildren, Michael Marciniak and Matthew Marciniak; and two brothers, Robert Matter and Louis Matter. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at the ELOISE B. KYPER FUNERAL HOME INC., 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, when a funeral ceremony will be held in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be privately held in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw.
