Elaine D. Gebauer, 72, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. She was born Tuesday, July 19, 1949, daughter of the late Edward and Virgilia (Shatzel) Yester.

Elaine was strong, kind and the most independent person. Her family really admired her. She was a loving grandmother and adored her grandchildren. Elaine was a wonderful mother and took pride in raising her 3 children. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and her memory will be cherished forever.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Kloskey (Richard) and brother, Ed Yester.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Chuck Gebauer (Leanne), Norm Gebauer (Mellissa), and Pamela Kennelly, as well as her grandchildren, Zachary Kennelly (Jaylei), Natalie Shebeck (Anthony), Koree Gebauer, Chloe Gebauer, and Nathan Gebauer; one sister, Ellen Pelleatario and one brother, Jim Yester.

Friends and family will be received at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mount Royal Boulevard, Glenshaw, PA, on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1pm to 6pm. Interment will be held privately at Mount Royal Cemetery, in Glenshaw, Pa.
