Edward J. Schneider ("Easy Ed"),  Age 89, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away  March 21, 2024. He was born on April 27,1934, son of the late Jacob A. Schneider and Anna (Frankovich-Cessar) Schneider.

Edward adored spending time with his family. He took pride in being a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Clara Mae (Kunz) Schneider ("Little Sweetie"). He was a loving father of Elaine M. Kozak ( late Gary Kozak), Paula J. Exler, "Poodles" (Jack Exler), Beth A. Schmidt (Clark Schmidt), Kathy J. Knight, "Kookie", Christine A. Spiker (Frank Spiker), Karen S. Schmidt; proud grandfather of, Eddie Kozak (Alisa), Sonya Kozak, Vanessa Kozak, Katherine Wesley (John), Anna Kozak (Josh), Late Gary Kozak, Katelyn Hill (Steven), Ryan Exler (Spencer), Christina Wojtowicz (Philip), David Schmidt (Joyce), Ethan Knight, Joanna Knight, Eric Spiker (Casey), Joey Spiker, Alex McComb (Alyssa), Kayla McComb, Samuel Schmidt; great-grandfather to Margaret, Noah, Elena, Nora, Yah Yah, Lu Lu, Christopher, Liam, Gary, Richie, Joshua, Hayden, Late Olivia, Delaney, Braydon, Sage, Tyler, Zach, Kaitlynn, Grandbaby Spiker, Zeke, Zandra, Zealand, Zeplyn, Grandbaby McComb,  Brother-in-law- to Joe Kunz (Vicky), Peggy Nye, Carol Kunz and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, cherished friends and neighbors that were dear to his heart.

In addition to his  parents, Edward was preceded in death by several family members. He was the loving brother of the late Jacob Schneider, Marie Shalonis (Pete), Barbara Schneider and loving brother in law of the late Mary Louise Bruce (Bob), Rosemarie Bevan (Bob), Jean Ray (Wally), Joanna Myers (Harold).

We want to thank the Angels at Concordia of Franklin Park who have brought so much joy and love to our father and mother while giving them such wonderful care.

Friends will be received on Sunday, March 24th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at ELOISE B. KYPER FUNERAL HOME,  2702 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116. A Funeral Blessing Service will be held the following day, Monday, March 25th, at 11am, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held at Mount Royal Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made  to Concordia of Franklin Park, 1600 Georgetown Drive, Sewickley PA 15143 noting in the memo line "Need Knotts-Courtyard Project".
