Dean Metropulos, 72, beloved husband of Arlene (Dombrowski) for 51 years, was surrounded by his family when he was welcomed with open arms into heaven by his parents and brother. Dean was born in Chicago, IL and moved to South Park, PA in 1975. He moved to Allison Park, PA in 2004.

He was an amazing father to Michael (Toni), Denise (Brian), and Mark (Natalie). He was the BEST Papa ever, to Dena (Patrick), Alicia, Stephanie, Bree, Michayla, Meredith, Luke, Helena, and Annabel. He was loved by many nieces, nephews, and the Cappelli step-family.

Dean was passionate about his career as Regional Manager, then Director of Giant Eagle for over 35 years. In his free time, Dean loved to fish, bowl, play cards with his neighbors, go to the casino, watch his grandchildren''s numerous activities, make pancakes, cheer for the Penguins, and be with his family. Dean''s love for his family is what he was the most proud of. He touched the hearts of everyone that he met and will never be forgotten.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, Pa. 15116, where visitations will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 and Sunday, April 30 from 2-4 and 6-8PM. A Trisagion service will be held Sunday at 7:00PM in the funeral home chapel.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at 10:00AM. Interment will immediately follow in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Dean requested that donations be made to beautify the holy Trinity Greek Orthodoc Cemetery. Checks may be made payable to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
